I assembled a new setup with a Ryzen 7 2700X, RX590, G.Skill AEGIS DDR16 RAM, Antec HCG power supply, and an MSI B550 MAG Tomahawk motherboard. The PC starts up smoothly, opens Windows without issues, and functions normally except for network tasks or driver installations. I used the included driver DVD, but the Realtek Universal driver froze at 99%—likely the network driver. Checking the MSI website didn’t show any available drivers; the drivers section is empty. When I accessed the drivers tab, it was blank. Installing drivers from Realtek’s site failed because the program reported the Realtek network controller wasn’t found. If deep sleep mode is active, connect the cable. Under Device Manager, the network controller isn’t visible, though PPOE, IPv6, and IPv4 devices appear. Disabling and re-enabling the onboard LAN via BIOS helped, but I tried reinstalling drivers and even considered a fresh OS install with Windows 10 Pro, but no luck. Any suggestions?
