problems with memory
I recently purchased a 16GB 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro (CMW16GX4M2C3200C16W) for my PC running a Ryzen 7 2700X on a B450 Aurora Pro motherboard. After installation, it worked smoothly with the XMP profile enabled. It booted into Windows immediately and allowed me to play games and stream for a few days. Then suddenly it crashed repeatedly—sometimes the game would freeze at the desktop, other times Windows would display a BSOD. Occasionally it would recover on its own for a day or two before crashing again later that same day. I tried adjusting the timings and clock speed manually, but the issue persisted. I ran memory tests and found no errors, yet the crash codes varied each time. Whocrash showed consistent hardware or memory problems, but the 2400MHz Giel RAM I had before a full BIOS reset didn’t resolve the issue either. I’m worried about returning the device if this continues.
Recent updates for the motherboard? Was the ECFW released prior to flashing? Current AMD chipset drivers available?
I've never changed the motherboard and I'm not sure if I have the newest chipset drivers (just updated to the latest ones).
