I just assisted a friend in installing OpenWrt on his Linksys mesh router, and it seems your device supports it as well. OpenWrt offers more flexibility, and you can configure it to use a single combined SSID or multiple individual ones. Device guide: https://openwrt.org/toh/linksys/mx8500 Some useful resources: https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/network/wifi/usteer https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/network/wifi/dawn https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/netw...fi/roaming I was searching for a method to prioritize 6GHz on Android, and found this discussion. My ISP has an Eero Max 7, but it doesn’t allow separate SSID separation—definitely not worth the purchase given its restrictions. Free is free.

I dont think there is a way. Also 6 Ghz has limited range and penetration power, so it's not like it's going to go far anyway. I think most devices try to connect to the band with the best signal. Im sure you can. My router can do that by default. I always run my SSID's separate. I like to know what my devices are connected to.
