I downloaded GTA V in November 2015 and it worked well on my EVGA GTX 970. One day I launched it and noticed only about 3 frames per second. After running some tests, the benchmark shows around 35fps. My system is fully optimized with all drivers updated. I reinstalled the game but saw no improvement. Since I don’t have integrated graphics, that shouldn’t be the problem. My hardware specs are: AMD FX-350 (350 cores, 4.0GHz), Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 (1866MHz), Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 (1600MHz), Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3, and a 750W Corsair FX power supply. Any advice?

Use ddu to reinstall drivers or verify your system's core clock. If it's around 450 and the GPU is in safe mode, restart your PC. Both problems on my 960 were resolved.

Which power supply unit are you referring to? Also, which game update do you need? Restarting the drivers might help.
