Hey everyone! I'm dealing with a strange issue involving my GPU drivers for this laptop setup (APU+GPU combo: a8-7410 + r7-360m). I want to switch to AMD drivers, but they seem damaged or broken. After reinstalling the latest drivers, Windows still won't boot properly. I've tried using the DDU uninstaller and even installed some older versions, but nothing works. Once I cleanly reinstalled the newest AMD drivers, the system runs fine with Windows, though performance feels very slow. What alternatives should I consider?

Search for driver sources on laptop manufacturer sites, use Windows Safe Mode, and check built-in troubleshooting tools. MODIFY and refresh Windows updates.

Thank you for your message! I installed the drivers from the HP website and am encountering an issue with MS Office. The text isn’t showing up, only the icons function correctly. I’ve already tried some troubleshooting steps, but it hasn’t resolved the problem.

Installing Radeon 17.4.4 is the final version that still functions on AMD a8 APUs. Newer drivers are leading to problems such as heavy mouse lag or screen blackouts.

The issue you're facing isn't typical for the version you installed. Check if the error persists after applying the fix from the provided link. If not, consider verifying your system settings or contacting support for further assistance.
