Problems with GAMES
I’ve written about CS:GO for years, starting from CS 1.6. I’ve had over nine years of experience, participated in tournaments, but the game now feels like it’s lagging by 1-2 seconds, getting pre-fired every time. The hitreg game is so bad it’s unplayable, and it seems everyone is using wallhacks. I considered switching to Valorant, but it’s just as frustrating. My PC has been changed twice before—once for a new build and again for another update. I’ve swapped the mouse, keyboard, monitor, and more. Still, my internet provider hasn’t changed, but I’m not sure if that’s the issue. My ping is around 30-40 ms, and I don’t see any packet loss. My specs are: Ryzen 5 3600 (4.2GHz OC), GTX 1660 Super (6GB), Asus TUF B450 (Plus Gaming), Corsair C550XM PSU, Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB @ 3200MHz, and a 1TB HDD with 256GB SSD.
If you encounter problems with online games, the internet might be the cause. The system is capable of handling CS GO smoothly. Have you adjusted your modem or router?
I attempted a factory reset and similar fixes, but nothing worked. I also tried CS:GO on my laptop, which performed exactly the same. It seems the issue isn’t with my hardware—my PC runs at around 350+ FPS smoothly. There’s a noticeable lag of about 1-2 seconds, making it feel like I’m behind. I’ve planned to visit my sister tomorrow to test the PC with a different internet connection and see if the problem persists. I hope it’s resolved, so I’ll cancel my current contract and switch to a new one.
Is the device using a wireless card? Consider trying a different brand or model. Was the computer connected via a cable to the router?
