Hello, after setting up my PC I’ve noticed frequent freezes and slowdowns even though the cooling system is solid and the hardware looks solid. I’ve swapped the RAM and it helped somewhat, but I’m still unsure what’s causing the problem. There hasn’t been a crash error message (BSOD), but after extended use the machine sometimes shuts down unexpectedly. My SSD is reliable and drivers are current. I’m concerned about the RGB lighting on my RAM showing lag under heavy workloads. Could it be the software I’m using that’s triggering this issue? Might the power supply be a factor? If you’d like, I can share more details or specs here. Just follow the topic if you want to see my previous responses. Thanks!

Do you have the complete system details? Also, does your setup use dual or quad-channel RAM? And are you correct that you haven’t experienced any BSODs?

No crashes at all and I’m using dual-channel memory.

I despise anything that doesn’t involve simply dropping the card into the slot. That’s where I’d begin.

I'll attempt it tomorrow and share an update since I have additional tasks now.

Refer to the instructions provided for using HWiNFO. Skip Furmark and Prime95 initially; focus on a single HWiNFO log session. Instead of stress testing, play a game for 10 minutes. A second run with a stress test is acceptable if desired.

No indications of issues detected. Both GPU and CPU are operating with consistent performance.
