Hey everyone, I’m facing a serious problem right now. After loading Hydroneer, I was expecting smooth performance, but I ended up seeing framerates hovering around 10-15 frames per second—especially in the Volcalidus DLC area. When I switched back to the main area, things stabilized at 60fps with full detail and 1080p resolution. The starting zone shows a lot more objects being rendered than usual. Previously, I noticed GPU usage spiking from 40% to 100% power when certain views appeared. It seems the game isn’t handling resources very efficiently. I’ve checked with Nvidia’s in-game tool and found the GPU mostly idling at low speeds (around 800MHz). I’ve tried reinstalling drivers, rebooting, reinstalling the game, adjusting settings, lowering resolution to 1366x768, and even testing other titles to see if the issue persists.

Can you adjust the power options to full performance in the Nvidia interface? Suggest using standard graphics configurations instead.

Power levels remained unchanged (reached 112% in afterburner just in case), even with a light overclock attempt. The settings don’t seem to influence frame rate, while low and Epic show a slight delay of 1-3fps, which I consider normal variation. Notably, the "maximize performance" option actually reduces smoothness, keeping the frame rate stable but making stuttering more noticeable—less sudden but still bothersome. The "snap resolution to monitor" unexpectedly drops to 640x720, which is clearly incorrect. Screen tearing appears extreme whether VSync is on or off. The pause menu locks at 60fps but becomes unstable once you exit. There was a reported bug that could drop framerate sharply when switching between borderless and full screen, yet the transition now feels similar. Update suggests it might be related to a game/gamesave problem or an issue with Nvidia/UE4. Tested on a gaming laptop (Intel W11, R7 5800H, AMD 3050 Ti) and encountered the same issues.

The problem was identified. Key details reveal a sequence where 7-7.5k emeralds were embedded in a neutron star cluster using seven gigabytes of memory. Progress moved from 18.6GB to 11.3GB. A snapshot shows about one-third completed, requiring manual selection since the physics engine would fail if altered. Thanks to prtmh on the Steam community for pointing out the need to review resource handling.
