Hi everyone. I just got GTA: San Andreas and it asked for at least DirectX 9. I thought I had version 11, but a Windows Update page suggested installing a DirectX update. After installing, the game ran but only about 15-20 FPS even on low resolution. My PC has a GTX 1050 Ti and a G4560. When I tried Fortnite, FPS dropped significantly. How can I fix my DirectX version?

They don’t work together. Use DX9c for older titles and DX11 for the latest ones. Just reinstall both and make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.

Check this link: FPS dropping in Fortnite is unlikely due to DirectX issues.
