Problems with Debian backlighting affect display brightness.
I frequently adjust my settings and haven’t used Debian before, so I installed it on my laptop with LXQT desktop. Now I’m experiencing unusual backlight problems—brightness stays at full and instead of dimming, the display shifts colors to mimic low brightness. I observed this when setting brightness to the lowest level, which seems to cause excessive backlight leakage.
