Hello, I noticed your computer showed a repair warning and a blue screen when it tried to fix itself. You mentioned trying different solutions but still facing issues with starting Windows. Have you considered restarting the PC or checking for hardware problems? Also, ensure your system drivers are up to date. If the problem persists, consulting a technician might be helpful.

The blue screen of death typically corresponds to error code 0x00000001, which is often associated with a memory or system failure.

You can rely on the existing system recovery image.

I feel like there must be some sort of virus going around as this is the third time in a week I've heard of this happening but I've never seen windows auto repair prior

Error message? It only displays 'Automatic Repair Couldn't Repair Your PC Press "Advanced Options" to try other options to repair your PC or "Shut Down" to turn off your PC. Log file: D:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.tx' on the blue screen, unfortunately.

You can check by looking for any lingering issues or errors that might not clear fully after using the reset tool. If the problem persists, consider deeper troubleshooting steps.

It's located in the Control Panel as 'Backup and Restore (Windows 7)'. You won't find it automatically unless you set it up yourself. Want to make it appear on another machine? Back up your data first, then reinstall Windows.

I've been using automatic repair since Windows XP and it hasn't helped.
