I am dealing with two problems with my Strix G15 (5800h with rtx 3070). When connecting my laptop to LG CX directly via HDMI, I cannot toggle Dolby Atmos. All drivers are up to date, and even the optional driver doesn’t help. Clicking on Atmos for home theater doesn’t work either; the display shows as an AMD high definition audio device. Ideally it should function, but it doesn’t. When using my AV receiver directly, I can use Dolby Atmos and the audio is much better. However, the movie tracks (Dolby TrueHD) are distorted. The problem seems to occur only with different laptops and Intel CPUs. Others have reported similar issues. I’m not sure what to do next.

You might want to see if your laptop is pending any BIOS updates. If you don't have any OS and BISO updates pending for your laptop, you can try and set the default audio output device to be that of Realtek(provided you have more than just AMD;'s audio output device in the Audio output window/field. Can you shoot us a screenshot of the audio devices present in both Device Manager and Audio Manager?
