Problems with Asrock Z590 Extreme Hyper M.2 chipset
I thought it would function properly, though not as quickly as expected. Learning this process has been a significant experience, especially since I'm starting from the ground up without using pre-made options. It's packed with details to absorb in a limited time.
The positive side is that you have two PCIe 3.0 M.2 ports along with all your other SATA connections. You should be fine for storage even without the premium PCIe 4 slot; otherwise, it might encourage you to buy a bigger M.2 device now so you won’t have to worry much about slot availability. I currently use a 1TB NVMe drive in one slot, and with only one spare, adding another will probably be a 2TB or bigger model.
