It's typical to see around 15 fps during Multiplayer low settings and about 20 on Ultra. You're aiming for the highest possible performance, especially with your new Pentium CPU and a 280x SSD—great setup! Your drive type should help boost speeds significantly.

It seems like your system is facing a performance limitation due to the CPU.

It seems the problem isn't with your PC but likely with the server. Overclocking and ensuring RAM is at least 2000MHz will give you better performance with Arma. It's interesting that lower FPS at lower settings can be a concern, especially when there are many players on the server.

I haven't tried it, yet several folks have mentioned Arma 3 is poorly optimized and might not be worth playing.

fps on arms varies widely depending on resolution. at 1440p with ultra settings, you see over 50 fps, but at 4K with high settings it drops to 40-50 fps. performance suffers from CPU and GPU load, especially with detailed graphics and long distances. reducing draw distance, disabling shadows, and lowering cloud/sky effects can significantly improve stability.
