Hey everyone, I encountered an odd issue after switching my PC from HDD to SSD and partitioning. Everything seemed fine until I tried booting via BIOS to change the startup drive. The PC wouldn’t power on at all—even though fans and lights were active. After some troubleshooting, I identified problems with the motherboard, CPU, or PSU. I asked an IT specialist for help, but because of COVID restrictions, they had to isolate me and returned my PC. Once I plugged in a new MB speaker, it worked perfectly—POST was stable and everything displayed correctly. However, I left the PCI network card out, so I unplugged all components and reinstalled it. Now the same issues persist: no POST, no display, and the fans are still spinning even when the PC was on. I’m really puzzled. Did the network card damage the motherboard or cause a short? It worked fine before installation. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!

No, I did not remove the network card or attempt a boot.

Verify if you were on CSM boot and the BIOS has shifted to EFI boot. You may need to switch back to CSM boot mode.
