Use Rufus to create a bootable W7 USB drive. Windows Vista and later work without problems.

I located my DVDs and discovered the board uses Socket 939, though it only accepts booting from USB drives, ZIP files, and some less common formats.

It seems highly improbable, as I haven’t encountered any 939 boards that failed to boot from USB. Still, DVDs should function properly.
