I'm facing issues with games that use DirectX. They appear poorly rendered and exhibit strange physics, such as characters colliding and stuttering or shaking. I've been experiencing this for over a year, despite upgrading all components—hardware, monitor, keyboard/mouse controllers. I've tried various NVIDIA settings and Windows tweaks, but nothing has resolved the problem. My current configuration includes an Intel i9 9900K CPU, Asus Rog Strix RTX 2080 Ti GPU, 32GB RAM (currently running at 3000MHz), a 120GB SSD as the boot drive, and a WDC NVMe 512GB SSD as the second drive. Storage space is Asus Rog Strix Z390-F. I'm at a loss and feel completely out of options.
It seems unusual. You’d probably benefit from watching it yourself. Would you like me to share the video now?
No, I haven't performed a fresh Windows installation at this moment while handling upgrades.
I've tested all the directx titles I could find—NBA 2k19, 20, 21, Metal Gear Solid V, Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Windows was reinstalled multiple times, and I even purchased another copy. I've tried every driver since at least September 2019.
ok, this sounds like a choppy frame rate issue with full screen ? There is some setting I remember doing with Bordered Full Screen, but should not happen with every game
I've also considered that. Three monitors with Gsync still didn't make a difference. In the clip, characters stutter when they turn. Not visible in the clip, but when they're near each other they collide, overlap, or shake hands just two feet apart. 346413402_NBA2K212020-11-2921-18-50_Trim.mp4
That's your GPU, right before the big spikes—game rest is only on the desktop. The other GPU behaved the same on another setup.
