I’m facing issues with my K70 RGB Mk2 syncing with Icue at startup. Every day I need to unplug it to get the correct colors working. I considered switching to a different keyboard, but tried a wireless model yesterday without any software and it didn’t work. My PC is now running, but I’m still having problems connecting to Icue. It loads the RGB theme at startup and then makes a noise when it connects, but it doesn’t seem to apply any fan curves properly. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Icue, deleted and readded profiles, but it still doesn’t remember the fan curves. I’ve tried recreating the themes and assigning them, but it’s very sensitive—running Icue and checking colors often sets them to hardware settings. I’m aware the earlier Icue version had similar issues, but this is the first time it’s happening.

Have you checked if the firmware is updated yet? Is the motherboard's BIOS current? Also verify the chipset and USB drivers. Consider testing different ports or headers on the motherboard. Try a fresh installation.

firmware is at the latest versions, BIOS and chipset drivers are up to date, USB is part of Windows.
what do you mean? The USB port the AIO connected to worked every other day until now.
if it happens again tomorrow i will perform a clean install. I would have done it today if it had shown me that link.

Completely wiping Icue didn't resolve the issue, so I reinstalled it at startup again. Within a few minutes it started cycling between running and then I heard the USB disconnection sound, fans slowed down, colors changed, and it resumed running fans. It happened six times without stopping. I restarted the PC. I created a profile that seems to have stopped the cycling. Instead of tolerating the broken Icue, I bought another AIO that doesn't rely on it. I plan to delete it a third time soon. For monitoring, I will use signalrgb and fancontrol on the new AIO.
