Hi, I noticed you're experiencing random black screens and reboots with the CPU Overheat warning across several games. Despite keeping temperatures below 91°C, the issue persists. I've checked the AIO, adjusted fan curves, and even undervolted the CPU to -30°C, but the problem continues. All fans are spinning and the pump is active, so it seems the hardware isn't overheating in a typical way. You mentioned running a stress test with stable temps around 90°C—still no recurrence. Your PC is two years old, which could hint at wear or other factors. Could there be something else going on, like a software glitch, driver issue, or even a failing motherboard component? I'm here to help dig deeper.

Look for variations in the inlet and outlet tubes of the AIO. Some models may experience failure over time because of sludge accumulation behind the cold plate or a failing pump. You might need to take apart the cold plate near the cooling head while ensuring it stays elevated above your radiator to prevent excessive leaks. There are many videos on YouTube about this topic—search them for more details.

AIOs often stop working suddenly, sometimes right after setup. Make sure to monitor coolant levels around the pump and check the radiator for abnormal heat.

It looks like the AIO is functioning properly, with water flowing through both tubes. Both tubes are warm, though the line from the CPU to the radiator is noticeably hotter. I cleaned the radiator, removing some dust, which improved my temperatures by a couple of degrees and prevented crashes since then. However, these parts aren’t very common, so it’s hard to confirm if that resolved the issue. I’ll use it for a few more days to observe.

a cozy radiator reaches 35-45°C, but 50°C or higher is typical. if it doesn’t feel warm enough yet, it may still overheat. i’d carefully remove the cold plate at the top and inspect for dirt. replace it if needed. for a cpu running at 91°C, the ai should sit around 50°C in a tube if it’s moving quickly enough.
