Realtek drivers aren’t picking up audio input on the motherboard, but front connections (like headset USB) function properly. The board includes Realtek SupremeFX drivers that didn’t work for both front and rear ports, and I’m having trouble finding them online. Anyone have ideas or sources for those drivers?

The chip on the MSI failed completely. I ended up getting a soundcard and kept testing drivers, but strange noises came from the USB header and front audio. Eventually it stopped working—it looked like. MSI is usually dependable, though Asus and Gigabyte often had issues, and EVGA still performed well.

It was quite an experience... after 23 straight bluescreens, I ended up partially installing and then removing parts of the audio manager during setup. Luckily, something resolved the issue—I can now play audio clearly, switch devices, and run games without problems. It feels like a PEBCAK error, but I don’t understand what’s causing it or how it was fixed. Over the past couple of weeks, this has happened repeatedly across four different computers.

It's still not functioning properly—it only operates since no drivers are present.

Corrected, resolved, successfully made the drivers function again... if someone faces this issue and needs details on the fix, I'm more than willing to explain the process.

You're experiencing the same issue repeatedly. You've tried updating both ASUS and Windows drivers, but the problem persists after reboots. It seems the fix depends on having the correct Windows drivers installed. What steps have you taken so far?
