Might become more relevant in the future? Reported issues with AMD motherboards and USB. It can effect HDD and so on? Not quite sure what's the real issue just making a notice of it.

I've observed the same issue on my system (5600X + MSI B550 Tomahawk). My external HDD frequently disconnects and reconnects when plugged into the front panel USB ports. Using the front panel USB 3.0 was completely out of the question—it would just drop every second or so. USB 2.0 offered a bit more stability but wasn't functional either. Connecting the drive via the rear USB ports (using the Logitech G513 keyboard) worked fine, albeit at slower speeds. The problem isn't with the HDD itself; it functions properly on my older system and laptop. I've turned off all USB power-saving settings in Windows.
