CPU performance is decent but fluctuates a lot. GPU usage stays high and unstable. Game runs okay at the moment but I need better frame rates. Specifications show a good build but power delivery seems limited. Overclocking caused temperatures to spike, yet cooling improved after a few days. Still unsure if hardware is faulty or if settings are off.

Which game is being played? What resolution is set? How much CPU power does each core consume?

We can see the frame rate you're experiencing right now. Lower CPU usage is usually fine and often preferred.

You mentioned needing higher frame rates, but didn't specify the actual numbers. Your hardware requirements seem excessive for this title in 1080p, or most games at that resolution. It makes sense that both your CPU and GPU are hitting their limits.

Sure, it makes sense to avoid using the full CPU or GPU power. I’m reaching close to 100 FPS in Forza 5 at 1080p ultra, which is why I’m aiming for higher frame rates. Regarding temperatures during overclocking, it’s normal to see them rise a bit.
