Problema de Asus ROG Strix 1080Ti sin pantalla.
I purchased a damaged 1080Ti and am attempting repairs. The logo on the backplate illuminates when I press power and remains active, fans fail to start, and no image appears. I've tried NVFlash and installing a new BIOS, but each attempt triggers a pop-up from NVIDIA Corporation followed by a BSOD. In Device Manager, the GPU isn't listed under display adapters—it shows in other devices with a yellow triangle labeled "unknown device" indicating it uses a PCIe bus. I disabled the card before trying to flash the BIOS.
The card appears to be physically compromised, not just a technical problem. I believe the seller would attempt to update the BIOS before abandoning it for a lower price. Do you have the capability to inspect the card and locate the faulty part?
I plan to test the BIOS flashing in safe mode tomorrow. Since there was no internet on the PC, no faulty drivers were installed. If anything goes wrong, I’ll open the card and check for any visible damage marks.
