I set up a dual boot with Windows and then installed my drivers. When I tried to run the HP driver sets for my garbage disposal, most didn’t install properly. The DISM logs showed both failed attempts and some indicating the package was already present. My original Windows install matched the graphics driver version, and the drivers haven’t been updated since 2020. It’s unclear what HP expects from this setup. I’m wondering if I should get the real Intel drivers or keep things as they are.

I faced a comparable problem with my new Asus motherboard. The drivers needed to be installed as a batch file, but they didn’t function properly. Restarting Windows helped resolve the issue. For me, downloading Windows via the media creation tool and installing it on an NTFS USB drive worked instead of using FAT32. Hope this helps!
