[GTA V purchased on Steam with a white shark card on May 27, 2017] My concern is that GTA V (the version I got via Steam plus a white shark card) displays an error saying my activation code is already used. How could this happen? I didn’t buy it second-hand or anything—I’ve reached out to Rockstar Support twice, the first time in October 2018 and the second more recently. It might be related to me buying it on an older PC, which had limitations, so I uninstalled it thinking I’d wait for a better machine. Now that my system can handle it, I get this frustrating message. I’m really hoping you can assist. I just don’t want to buy it again, so I’m open to trying other options. Edit: I discovered my younger self applied for a refund but didn’t receive any response, and my friends can see how long I’ve played the game, though they can’t view my library. You can re-buy the game by purchasing it again through the official store or your preferred platform.
