Attempted the fix, but the issue remains unresolved. Can you confirm if the reset resolved the problem?

Check the CMOS checksum upon startup. If it doesn’t resolve the problem, consider borrowing a graphics card for testing.

Restarted once more. No CMOS checksum alerts appearing. Maybe my setup is off... Honestly, I don’t have anyone else using a PC to compare with. It’s going to be challenging. Appreciate the support!

You might attempt to power off the PC while keeping it connected, then briefly touch the pins for 10-15 seconds. This appears to help others facing similar issues. Consider also removing the cooler and reattaching it after applying new thermal paste. Make sure all power connections are properly seated. If this doesn’t resolve the problem, a hardware fault is likely requiring more parts for diagnosis.

You might also attempt to detach all cables except those delivering power, such as USB connectors and front panel ports, and then discharge the power button pins on the board to start it.

Tried a quick fix by shorting the pin but kept the PC running; no improvement. Planning to explore alternative methods now. Just wondering—would connecting the Windows boot drive or using a different drive affect the issue?

I believe the problem isn't likely because the boot drive is only needed when starting the operating system, not during BIOS setup. Since the issue appears in the BIOS, it probably won't affect you. However, if you suspect that's the cause, you can safely disconnect it to test. Computers often behave unpredictably.

You mentioned placing it in a case even though you already knew the problem existed, which is interesting. It might mean something was overlooked. My suggestion would be to assemble only the essential components—like a hard drive—into a cardboard box placed outside the case. This makes it simpler to check connections and other details. If you remain stuck, consider using a very affordable compatible GPU for around $20 to test whether the original issue was with your existing GPU.

Looking back, I’m confused about what I did. I assumed the problem would resolve itself. I was just excited to complete the PC. I plan to simplify everything and start troubleshooting. I’m using only an SSD, not a hard drive, which is why I left it out of the build.
