Ram discusses a F4-3600C18D motherboard with default settings and performance notes. He mentions issues with booting at 3600MHz and considers replacing the CMOS battery or resetting the BIOS. He notes the system attempts to boot three times before loading Windows Startup Repair due to a failed initial start. He points out that testing was done on two slots instead of four, which could be a factor. He also reflects on whether he should wait for a new BIOS release or investigate further.

Which processor? Boost DRAM voltage to 1.4 or 1.45 and raise the SOC voltage to 1.15.

Download Aida64, navigate to motherboard -> SPD. Record all timing details and take photos. Visit BIOS, adjust frequency, timing, and DRAM voltage manually.

I'll test the Ryzen 5900x and report the results.

I also tried adjusting the timing manually, but it caused a blue screen after two tries. The 3333mhz setting appears to work fine; Aid64 shows 18-22-22-42 at 1.35v for 3600mhz, matching the box's settings.
