ok Thx for the input. I have only recently bought the MB on the 19th Dec 2020 and have just got round putting it together, I am going to try returning it to the seller first and see what they say and if they will replace it. if not back to the manufactuer and hope they will fix the board. only downside is I will have to wait for themn to repair it. Regards

I adjusted the pin several times, spent some time pushing them back through the plastic shield. A compact adapter fit the USB connector inside the case, and it finally worked. I’m hoping I won’t need to undo it again.

Considering a simple adapter seems like a smart move. I might purchase one and fit it onto the new board, hoping this problem doesn’t recur. The current boards are fine, but there was a minor connection issue—specifically, the connector was too tight. When I sent the old board back to the seller, they replaced it and sold it with a £20 discount off the original price. It still functioned properly.
