I discovered this handy tool called LCDoff.exe. It helps your display power down until you interact with the mouse or keyboard, acting like a sleep timer set to zero. It works well when you place the icon in the taskbar. However, it doesn’t function on Windows 10—it just turns the screen off and back on. I won’t share links since Chrome flags it as malware, but I’m pretty sure it’s not harmful, likely a false positive. Any suggestions?

Chrome identifies all software as malicious. I'm checking quickly to confirm functionality. Updated: Works smoothly on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit via HDMI and DVI.

You're asking about using HDMI and DVI in Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. That should work fine.

Additionally, I've never noticed my monitors power down that way... they're programmed for 10 minutes.

Have you attempted to re-download it? http://kev009.com/wp/projects/lcdoff/ When Chrome flags it as malicious, click Details, then Visit this site. Chrome will report it as malicious, after which you can view all downloads and recover the file to protect yourself.
