You need to be more precise about the issue. The screen appears normal, only an "install" button is visible. Have you pressed it? What occurred afterward? Should I try using the terminal as suggested, since @Master Disaster recommended?

Hang on... did you set up Ubuntu or just start from the disc? If you did install it, open /etc/apt/sources.list in a text editor and share what it says. Also, the command functioned as expected, but it didn’t resolve your problem.
