Hello! I began assembling a new PC and encountered a problem. When I tried to power it on, nothing happened and an orange POWER light appeared. This is frustrating and makes troubleshooting difficult. My motherboard is a Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1, I have an i7-6700K processor, and 16 GB of RAM (4x4). Any advice would be really helpful.

It looks like you verified each link and everything is functioning properly.

Consider running the PC without any graphics cards or using just one stick of RAM. I thought you might want to remount the CPU. Let me know if that helps.

The only thing visible is an orange glow emanating from the PWR LED on the motherboard.

I just checked around 15 minutes ago and the PWR LED remains a solid orange color.

Don't stress, it could be your power source issue. Which model is your PSU?

Consider using a screwdriver to touch the two pins on the motherboard rather than the power button.
