Problem with XMP profile
Memory multiplier setting - 38.00 FCLKL Frequency - 1900MHz UCKL=MEMCLK 18-22-22-42 - restarting 19-22-22-42 - functioning properly.
Memory multiplier setting - 40.00 FCLKL Frequency - 2000MHz UCKL=MEMCLK 19-22-22-42 - restarting 19-22-22-50 - restarting 19-23-23-58 - operational. I've observed this, I have VDimm on 1.224, it shouldn't exceed that value? It's running in auto mode. Think Thaipoon burner in the attachment.
It makes sense that Yea didn't examine the first image closely. It's 3 a.m., and I just need to print this for tomorrow while resting. I thought it would show the real clock times, not just JEDEC specs. My Gigabit X58 and P55 boards seem to display JEDEC instead of actual settings—this has been happening for over ten years. I guess they probably included accurate timing info rather than just JEDEC, even though ASUS has been sharing real timings since a long time ago. At least my P5Q, P7P55D, and the mediocre P6X58DE report correct timing like the current TRFC.
It seems the CAS latency might be causing issues with CL18. Unexpected CAS latency numbers don't function well on AMD systems and often get rounded up, meaning your input of CL19 actually maps to CL20. Setting the voltage at 1.35V should suffice for CL18, and the 1.5V in the XMP profile likely needs to be adjusted to CL16 for proper operation. For high performance targeting 4000MT/s, consider running memory stress tests like TestMem5 with Anta777 Extreme1 preset and Linpack Xtreme. If you need visual confirmation, use ZenTimings to attach screenshots.
Volt is too low 1.4-1.5v will be enough for 3800-4000 with decent timings though i wouldnt tighten cl and tcwl too much since those gobble volt for next to no performance gain Awhile ago i did find a chinese site that managed to get 4800 with that ic but cant find it anymore so Heres the next best thing if you wanna play with high freq desync fclk, though i dont think its worth it till you push >5000 and at those speeds ram oc becomes very painful due to getting near your hardwares limits (mainly mobo, rams, imc). High freq is mainly just loosening the primaries, leaving subtimings to be auto set by mobo since itll probs set them loose, and running more voltage
Memory multiplier set at 40.00 FCLKL. Frequency configured at 2000MHz with UCKL=MEMCLK at 1.4V (18-22-22-42). Functioning correctly, need to perform some tests. Mem test 5 and timing measurements below. Should I increase the voltage or seek improved timing? Aim for optimal performance.
The link is likely a shortened or encoded version. "IC" could stand for something specific depending on context, but it doesn't directly mean anything without more information.
Can't locate suitable OC profiles for my RAM. Will stick with @RONOTHAN## settings—18, 22, 22, 42. Trying higher frequency, using these configurations plus increased voltage. According to sources, 1.5V works well with strong airflow and cooling. NXPT H510 flow and Dark Rock 4. Will share results soon; anyone helpful?
The issue with higher frequency won't stem from memory sticks, but from your CPU itself. Only a handful of chips manage 4000MT/s in single-issue mode, and I've only heard of one doing so. You might attempt it, but you shouldn't expect much progress. If you're serious about this, focus on reducing the clock speeds instead.
