I recently acquired a used PC with Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 RAM, compatible with my motherboard ASUS H170-PRO. Despite updating the BIOS, XMP functionality remains inactive, and no video appears even at correct timings. I attempted slower speeds like 2933 and 2666mhz but it still doesn’t work—just stays on indefinitely, requiring a manual shutdown after an hour. The system reports instability or a forced shutdown. My CPU is an i7-6700K and not OC. Please share the CPU-Z report for further guidance.

The xmp profiles for LPX vengeance vary widely—some modules function flawlessly while others fail completely. Corsair's claims about the RAM generation were somewhat overstated regarding both speed and timing. For reliable results, aim for 16-18-18-36 at 1.37v with 2866.
