The Windows 10 Pro OS build 1904.3271 isn't updating properly. The update check displays "something wrong, try opening settings later." I've tried these steps: scanning with SFC/scanned and found nothing, resetting the settings app, and enabling the Windows updates service in Services.msc to automate it. However, I noticed that every time I turn on my PC, the COM surrogate runs in the background, consuming about 60-80% of RAM. Please help resolve this issue.
