Problem with Windows update failure.
The update section is not responding, and the progress indicators keep spinning without stopping.
Earlier there was a discussion about a user facing the same issue. Various ideas were shared, including using the built-in System File Checker to detect corrupted files and another suggestion was to upgrade Windows via Microsoft’s media creation tool.
The theory is sound. In practice, I've modified multiple systems without encountering data gaps. Still, keeping backups is a good idea.
