You're trying to run Windows on your MacBook Pro without using Boot Camp. You installed the OS from an installation USB and then set up support tools. Now you're experiencing issues where Windows freezes at the login screen with the Windows logo and spinning circle, while macOS still works well and Windows can boot in safe mode. The problem seems to occur only when attempting a normal Windows boot.

It would have been beneficial to try BootCamp. If you rely on an outdated approach on your MacOS system, I won’t be able to assist further.

The bootcamp didn’t recognize the Windows 10 USB installation. I checked online and it looks like you’ll need a DVD to make it work.

Does your MacBook come with an optical disc reader? If yes, I’d prefer using it—it’s simpler than USB connections, which often need formatting before writing data. I need to understand the right software for creating the ISO file and sometimes a laptop fails to detect the drive even after the write process. This has happened before, so I’ve switched to using DVD for most tasks now.

Confirmed, it's from late 2011, 15-inch model. Could cause problems if EFI's AMD GPU was turned off.

I'm worried about breaking if I turn it back on. That's why I turned it off initially. These graphics cards seem quite unstable.

I acknowledge your worry. Considering you're using an AMD dGPU, the chance of issues seems lower (unless you've been pushing it intensely). Based on some quick checks: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/hel...a.2097815/, this should be more reliable. Still, if you choose to turn it off, I won't express any concern.

I understand - just remove it. It seems Apple struggles with GPUs in their MacBooks.
