Hello, I'm facing issues with the Windows 10 Home update. It's been over two weeks, and I've tried various solutions via the internet, but nothing has worked. Pressing Update still leads to a shutdown or restart without any updates or errors.

It appears the system is quite damaged. Would you consider reinstalling Windows as a solution? That should be the simplest way forward.

If a reinstall isn't possible, click the assistance button visible on the right side of your screenshot to reach Microsoft support. I have to admit it’s often unreliable—sometimes they fix the problem and other times they cause further issues. Please back up all your data right away.

It looks like a good fortune for you. LOL. Your Windows setup might be broken. The best solution is to reinstall it. You can also use the built-in recovery tools and perform a reset; this will preserve your files while requiring all software to be reinstalled.

Accept the backup option if you haven’t already. Reinstalling might be the fastest fix, though it could be quite intrusive depending on your computer use. What methods have you attempted in detail? Are other settings functioning properly besides Windows Update? Running an OS repair can be challenging and depends on how much time you’re willing to invest. Likely the first step would be executing SFC (via cmd or PowerShell as admin) and typing sfc /scannow. This could help but may not resolve everything, especially if deeper issues exist.
