Have you attempted to restart the installation directly from there instead of rebooting?

Do you have an installation DVD that came with your product code available? It’s possible you only need to buy a $20 external DVD drive for installation, as I did with my computer. How many RAM sticks are installed in your system? Would you like to try installing with just one stick active?

I own the disc and have access to an external drive, which isn't ideal but a last resort. I also have a 2x4GB storage space.

Consider removing one memory module and proceeding with installation. If issues persist, try the alternate stick. Once Windows is installed, install the remaining RAM and perform a memory test with Memtest to verify functionality. If problems continue, the storage drive may need replacement.

I'm starting the installation now after pulling one stick. I'm hoping it will work.

Good luck! I'll wait for you to test both DIMMs.

It seems like you're referring to something that chose to proceed without hesitation.
