The issue seems to be with a system file rather than just the Wi-Fi card. Reinstalling the Wi-Fi drivers might help, but you may also need to repair or reinstall the Windows system files. Check for updates and ensure your hardware is compatible.

Launch the Start menu, select All Programs, then Accessories. Click on Command Prompt and right-click it, choosing Run As Administrator. Accept the User Account Control request. In the Command Prompt, enter sfc /scannow to check and repair system files.
