I recently switched to Windows 11 Pro following a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro. Playing GTA V caused significant stuttering, dropping from around 120 fps to just 30 fps in single-player. Overwatch 2 ran smoothly in Windows 11, possibly because it’s less demanding. I reverted my PC to Windows 10 and the issue disappeared. Many people are experiencing similar performance problems on Windows 11—any advice would be greatly appreciated. My system specs include an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with MSI Gaming graphics, a TRIO RTX 2070, 16GB DDR4 RAM at 3200MHz, a 500GB NVMe SSD, and a 1TB hard drive.

Number one, avoid putting games on the slowest storage. Otherwise, loading will feel sluggish.

I also tested it on my SSD, and I'm seeing the same outcomes.

It works well on Windows 10. I'm looking for a solution for Windows 11.

Hardware functions smoothly, so I suggest sticking with Windows 10 until more people adopt Windows 11. Also, gather sufficient bug reports from Microsoft to help resolve the problem. Right now, the operating system isn’t widely used, which means many unrecorded issues remain.
