Problem with Windows 11 laptop Bluetooth disappearing and disconnecting
Hello,
I’m dealing with a Windows 11 laptop that’s having trouble with Bluetooth for a while. Occasionally I can pair up without issues, but other times I face problems like the feature vanishing entirely and not showing up in Device Manager. When I turn it on, it disappears completely and I have to restart. Even when I connect devices, the link drops after a short time, making it seem like there’s lag or the connection is unstable. I’ve already tried resetting Windows through settings, but the problem remains—Bluetooth is now fully gone.
Could anyone help identify the cause and suggest a solution? Appreciate your support!
I have made the necessary updates.
The latest version is now active.
which laptop is this?
did you update the latest bluetooth drivers via the laptop's support website?
what version was used?
perhaps a usb bluetooth adapter might assist, especially if the built-in one is defective. Or consider replacing it.
you might consider going in to windows device manager, find the usb hub that the bluetooth device is connected to and right mouse click on it to bring up properties then find the power management tab and uncheck the option for windows to let windows turn off the device to save power. (this is a work around for a common bug)
generally a fix would involve update the bios, update the CPU chipset drivers and bluetooth drivers from the motherboard/laptop vendors website. (new sleep states added to windows require bluetooth driver updates, and USB and bios might have to be updated to correctly support new features to the specifications.
