Consider installing Windows 10 now for July 29 to avoid delays, or wait a week if you want to resolve any remaining issues.

I'll wait two weeks... but it should work even on the 29th.

You're curious about potential fixes for GTA 5. I can share what's been discussed, but no official solutions are confirmed yet.

It includes minor improvements but lacks major enhancements and doesn't improve speed. Some games required reinstallation, or else they would slow down or crash (GTA V).

Set it up on the 29th. This version is managed differently than previous ones. In earlier versions, they would approve a single build and then patch bugs as they discovered them. Now, Microsoft has already approved from RTM but keeps searching for and fixing issues. Learn more: http://www.winbeta.org/news/windows-10-r...ws-service

You can perform an upgrade. (Latest versions seem to be around SP2 or 8.1, not 8.) Most users here likely choose a clean install. I think Will will handle two swaps: http://strawpoll.me/4997984 and http://strawpoll.me/4998014
