Hello! Your Windows 10 computer is experiencing issues after the update process. When you try to restart, it seems to hang and the troubleshooter doesn’t resolve the problem. The sfc /scannow command only reports some issues without fixing them. Since your school hasn’t yet rolled out the annual update, you might want to wait for the official release or reach out to your IT department for guidance. Let me know if you need further assistance!

Assume your device is linked to your school’s domain. Navigate to Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update. Tap the blue button: "Check online for update from Microsoft Update." Selecting it will only contact the school servers to see if updates are available for the connected Windows 10 PCs. Clicking the link skips the school network entirely and connects directly to Microsoft servers, similar to what happens at home. This feature is introduced in Windows 10. The process may take some time, so allow a few minutes. This should help you obtain the most recent version of Windows 10.
