Uncertain about the situation. My computer worked well before, then I messaged someone on Discord and it stopped working. Windows showed a window asking to end a process, but clicking it didn’t do anything. Now there’s a gray background on my desktop and whenever I click my mouse it says “end process,” though I can’t actually click it. This happens when using settings, Chrome, or any app. Need assistance. PC specs: MSI B350, Ryzen 5 1400, 8GB DDR4 (2x4GB), Corsair 550VS, PSU 500GB internal drive, 1TB external Zalman Z9 Plus case. Thanks for help.

Run antivirus scan using sfc /scannow to repair Windows issues. Check your HDD via an S.M.A.R.T. program or use SSD software from the manufacturer to assess health. If everything appears normal and temperatures are high, consider reinstalling Windows 10 as a last resort; otherwise, it may indicate hardware problems. Also, check if you have any overclocking enabled and what type of storage you're using (SSD or HDD) and their age. How long has the PC been used or is it new? Did you install Windows separately or with the device?
