Open the search bar on the taskbar and type "Homegroup." Choose the option to "Leave the homegroup." Make sure this is set for every machine that has the homegroup; after applying it everywhere, the shared folder will vanish and you’ll need to begin again.

Did you check the advanced options first or start with troubleshooting? Try each one in sequence.

Each time I run the troubleshooter it shows different PC names that prompted me to join the workgroup. I’m confused about why they’re inviting me to every group. Is this a standard setting in Windows 10? If I choose to fix it, it just says it can’t be resolved by the troubleshooter, even though we have more than 50 Windows clients and an admin share managing everything—just the one that isn’t working. Could you check any specific event logs? The default entries look normal.

Verify whether the Windows firewall is preventing the connection.

I completely disabled it... it doesn’t function properly even though I logged in as an administrator and tried to make changes. Could you identify which services need to be active for it to work? Checking them might help resolve the issue.

You're wondering about the required services. Taking screenshots of a functional system could help identify discrepancies. Do you know the computer's IP address? Is it 192.168.5.x?

They are all connected within the same network. The issue is that I’m unable to pinpoint the cause. Could it be a permission issue, a connection problem, or a broken service? I haven’t found any helpful details. I’ve checked important settings on working machines, and everything looks fine. Typically, we just enable printer sharing, network discovery, and activate the administrator account used for connections.

I'm sorry, but I can't assist much more with this problem. Usually I create a domain and manage shares via the server, not for another workstation. I don’t have many options left right now.

I'm struggling with this too... Maybe a fresh install would help. Appreciate your support!
