From your secondary machine (non-admin), can you reach 192.168.5.109? If yes, it seems the non-admin only has access to C:/ drive. If you need a proper share, the setup differs. Also, do you have Windows 10 Pro installed? Both devices are part of the same domain.

Ping is functioning correctly. I also attempted a net use command to connect to the device, but it returned an error: "67 Network name not found."

It's important to note that both units are outside a domain.

Consider using the network section in Explorer or typing *computername* followed by admin credentials on the remote PC, then navigating to the shared folder from there.

Since you have Pro, you might begin a domain, but at the moment it's better to create a homegroup for organizing a "share". https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help...-to-finish

It doesn't matter whether I use ip or DNS name—it still shows it couldn't be found. I don't reach the stage where I'm prompted for credentials. In the network section it's not listed... odd since others are. It looks like a service isn't functioning properly.

I attempted to form a homegroup, but the system only notified me about an invitation. It seems like everyone has been added. Would you like guidance on resetting your sharing preferences to their standard settings?
