On my 64-bit Win10 laptop with Wi-Fi, it’s not functioning properly now. It worked before but keeps failing after a few restarts. Sometimes I have to turn it off and on multiple times, yet it stops again once I put it to sleep or connect to a wired network. The adapter seems fine—Windows is likely the cause. From the screenshot you can see the adapter is hidden in Device Manager. Please help! Thank you. My laptop model is Asus G752VY.

Have you checked for a driver update? Occasionally, software can become corrupted.

Consider turning off and back on the driver, then reinstall it. If that fails, disable the virtual adapters—they seem questionable. If nothing works, the Wi-Fi card might be faulty or there could be a driver conflict, which usually requires a full Windows reinstall.

It's true, previous attempts ended with a fresh install of Windows. I was just wondering if there are alternative options. Stability can be an issue with Windows over time.

It's true, this has been one of the many factors that led me to choose OS X for everyday tasks...Windows works well for gaming and certain programming needs, but that's about it. I'm glad you managed it successfully!

Networkreset wouldn't help either. I recently resolved a similar but different adapter problem by completely removing all adapters and drivers from a Windows 10 laptop using its built-in network reset option.

Never tried it. For feedback, I focus on what I’m familiar with and have used often before.
