Problem with Wi-Fi on one device while working fine on another.
Hello, I've been experiencing some problems with my Wi-Fi recently. The main issues are: games like Apex and Minecraft sometimes freeze or cause rubber banding, the connection drops unexpectedly during Steam downloads (it pauses for 10 to 30 seconds), and there are intermittent interruptions while downloading. I've tried troubleshooting and confirmed these problems only occur on my PC. I checked my smart TV, family PC, and all phones in the house—none of them have the same issues. When I switched the PC around in its PCIe slots (off the machine) and tested again, it still didn't work. I've also updated drivers from Asus, disabled and re-enabled the card, and checked for compatibility with my new GPU. The ASROCK AB350 is set to work with my Ryzen 3 2200 G, but I'm not sure if that makes a difference. One thing to note is that my MOBO setup has been modified to be more compatible. I've shared my PC details here: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Dragonfire...ved/mychkL
It's probably one of two possibilities: the router might not be functioning well, which is rare unless you're using the equipment supplied by the Wi-Fi provider. The more probable scenario is that your Wi-Fi card is faulty—swap it with another working one, and if they're identical, it should work without any software adjustments. Any other factors seem unrelated to this issue.
I'm using the router supplied by the ISP, though I assumed it wasn't faulty since everything else functions properly. I plan to replace the cards tomorrow.
