Hello, I’m facing a problem with Wake on LAN not working after shutdown. I use “Wolow” to wake my PC from my phone, and I’ve followed several guides. Normally, when I shut down my PC, it restarts again using Wolow, but if I power off and then turn the PSU switch on, everything works perfectly. I checked multiple forums for help but didn’t find any answers. I’ve also tried other Wake on LAN tools without success. If you have any advice or more details, please share! My motherboard is an ASUS Prime Z590-A.

Put your PC to sleep rather than turning it off completely

It ruins the goal, right? You can start a PC using the LAN connection simply by connecting via Remote Desktop.

I set up Wolow on my phone linked to Siri automation. Every evening at 7 PM, my PC activates automatically since that’s when I typically log in for gaming with friends. However, the feature fails unless I manually switch the power supply on and off first.

No, the magic packet isn't sent when your phone is connected to Wi-Fi.

Access the control panel, network and sharing center, adapter configuration, and open the network card properties. Click configure at the top. Under the advanced section, turn on features like wake on LAN or magic packets and restart the device.
