Search results indicate Ubuntu runs kernel 5.4, suggesting PopOS likely supports it as well. A known issue was resolved in kernel 5.7; verify your version with uname -r. You might upgrade to mainline for a potential update to 5.7.6 via the provided link.

5.7 is quite new, so you should consider a rolling release setup. Here are some options you might explore. If you favor a release-driven approach, you can wait until Fedora 32 incorporates support for 5.7, which typically takes about a week or two.

Manjaro 5.4 is the standard version, but you can leverage its native kernel tool to upgrade to a newer kernel.

Hey everyone, has this been fixed? I'm using 5.11 with Pop OS and can't see my Shure USB mic. It doesn't appear in input or output devices. When I run lsusb, it shows the Shure device. I'm just starting out with Linux and it's working great so far, except for this problem. Thanks!
